Divlje Palme / La Pensée Sauvage presents Moody Drifts by Neda Kovinić (sound producer) & Bojana Knežević (sound designer)

Moody Drifts: Affective Resistance is a soundtrack created for a dance performance, blending vocal and noise improvisation with partisan songs from former Yugoslavia and street recordings from ongoing anti-government student and civilian protests in Serbia. The composition is expanded with tracks by Yugoslav electro pioneer Suba (Mitar Subašić) and Bosnian-born, Australian-based musician Ex Ponto from his album Neka Neka. The soundtrack guides listeners through layers of sound shaped by affect theory, suggesting how collective preconscious affects can spark resistance and collective action. Contemporary soundscapes intertwine with music from former Yugoslavia, evoking both the spirit of solidarity and the persistence of resistance.
